EIN & ITIN Application Help

What’s the Difference?

EIN (Employer Identification Number)

  • Issued by the IRS for businesses and entities.

  • Used to open business bank accounts, hire employees, file taxes, and apply for licenses.

  • Required for most U.S.-based businesses.

ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number)

  • Issued by the IRS to individuals who need to file taxes but aren’t eligible for a Social Security Number.

  • Common for foreign nationals, non-resident investors, and dependents.

  • Not a work permit or immigration status.

Pricing, Turnaround & Requirements

For an EIN Application, our fee is $600, and the typical turnaround time is 3–5 business days. To apply, you’ll need to provide your business formation documents (such as LLC or Corporation papers), a copy of your passport or government-issued ID, and a U.S. address or the details of your registered agent.

For an ITIN Application, our fee is $700, and the IRS usually processes applications within 6–8 weeks. The required documents include a completed W-7 form, a valid passport or government-issued ID, and a supporting tax return or other proof that meets IRS requirements.

Processing times may vary depending on IRS workload.
